Interesting Ways to Remove Stains from Clothes

Stains happen. There’s not much we can do about it except try to be extra careful – ALL THE TIME – but who has time for that? While we would like to prevent these inconveniences from happening, sometimes you can’t stop that person from spilling wine on you or keep your child from getting grass marks all over their pants. The best thing you can do is be prepared and have a solution for removing those stains when the time comes. An Electrolux washer appliance is well-equipped for getting harsh stains out of your garments, but to be extra safe, here are a few interesting ways to wipe out the stains before they stay forever!

    1. Coffee

If you don’t have a t-shirt with even a slight splash of coffee on it, do you even drink coffee? Get rid of this stain with distilled white vinegar and then throw it into your washing machine to finish the job.

    2. Wine

With the mixture of liquid detergent and hydrogen peroxide, you can create a concoction made for removing wine spills from any material. Blot the stain away quickly so you aren’t stuck with it.

    3. Blood

If you play sports, you’re bound to end up with blood on your clothes at some point. Keep some hydrogen peroxide handy after soaking your stained items in cold water. The blood will wipe away like it was never there!

    4. Foundation

Those who wear this makeup product know that it can be a nightmare to get out of clothing. Treat it with some liquid dish soap and then toss it in your laundry appliance with hot water.

    5. Sweat

No need to trash a perfectly good shirt with sweat stains. Simply soak the shirt in cold salt water. Once you’re done, let it dry in the sun.

    6. Grass

Before letting your laundry pair take care of grass stains, be sure to soak the materials in a mixture of cold water and your regular laundry detergent first.

There’s usually always a way to get out stains. And if all else fails, your Electrolux washer and dryer are prepared to give it all they’ve got on your clothes. No need to worry over spilt milk!
